This project involved widening two miles of I-5; and building three temporary detour bridges; ten permanent bridges; shored roadways; and soundwalls.
Interesting Factoid: The highlight of this project was Hamilton's ability to accelerate the construction schedule and deliver in two years – at budget – what normally would have been considered a three year project. Hamilton achieved this feat with a unique strategy that involved doubling up co-project managers in charge of dealing with the myriad of details related to their respective highway and bridge management assignments.
